Mahindra recently announced that the brand is entering the world of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). The brand also released the first tranche of tokens, becoming the first Indian automotive OEM to enter the NFT space. Furthermore, the company revealed that the NFT offerings from Mahindra will be based on the popular Thar SUV. The brand has now revealed that the first series of Mahindra Thar Superhero themed NFTs have been introduced. These include four epic NFTs depicting the coming of age of the Thar Superhero. The auction for the Mahindra Thar Superhero NFTs is already live and will conclude on 31 March 2022, starting at 7 PM, followed by a gap of 30 minutes for subsequent NFT auctions. Mahindra Thar Superhero NFTs Mahindra has revealed that the Thar Superhero NFTs include the All-New Thar. The NFTs bring popular visual styles and surreal surroundings, including symbolism and written narratives for each NFT. The four NFTs are NFT 1 - Born of the Earth, NFT 2 - Taking Flight, NFT 3 - Standing Tall and NFT 4 - Exploring the Impossible. Born of the Earth reveals forged from elements hidden deep within and showcases the SUV evolution. The brand reveals that the NFT showcases the superhero toughened by time and shaped by winds of change. Taking Flight NFT gives flight to a dream and also gives purpose to the Thar superhero. The brand reveals that with the pure 4x4 energy at its core, the superhero takes a leap of faith by embracing new powers. The standing Tall NFT is synonymous with the ability to take on extreme adversity. The NFT showcases that myth and reality begin to blur as stories of Thar’s impossible feats. Exploring the Impossible NFT portrays the break from routine life for you to go out and explore the impossible. The Auction The brand reveals that the auction and eventual purchase will take place at Mahindra Gallery. The online NFT marketplace was made in collaboration with Tech Mahindra. The buyers of the Mahindra NFTs need to create a Crypto Wallet to participate in the auction. Buyers also need to go through a mandatory KYC before bidding begins on the website. Buyers can complete the purchase transaction using normal INR through the Crypto Wallet.
