The company also confirmed last year that the Harrier EV will launch in March 2025. Now, the latest spy shots showcase the mid-spec variant being tested on the road. Read more details below. As visible in the latest spy shots, the Harrier EV test mule is completely camouflaged. However, the distinctive gloss black alloy wheel design gives away the fact that it is not the top-end trim. In what is believed to be the mid-spec model, the test car has more or less identical similarities to the top-end trim of the production model. Tata recently showcased the production-ready electric Harrier SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It managed to gather a large crowd and numerous queries, portraying that consumers are interested in the core of this upcoming Tata EV. The latest test car was spotted in Okhla, Delhi. Its black alloy wheels are specifically 18 inches in size and 235 in profile spec. The top-end trim, which was showcased at the Auto Expo'25, had 19-inch wheels with 245-section rubber. Meanwhile, the spy shots also manage to showcase a bit of the cabin design. The visible steering wheel and dashboard look similar to the current ICE Harrier. It has a 12.3-inch floating infotainment screen, a digital console, auto-dimming IRVM, touch HVAC controls, and more. Powering the Harrier EV will be a big battery pack that will power two electric motors, each mounted on both axles. This will also allow it to use an all-wheel-drive system for better performance. While the battery and electric motor specs are unknown, the total torque is believed to be more than 500Nm. Tata has also overhauled the suspension of the Harrier EV as it gets an independent suspension unit at the rear. The production model that was showcased at the Auto Expo also had an auto-park feature. It is similar to the Mahindra BE series cars that have debuted recently.
