Design and features

The 2025 TRK 502 series now comes with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, replacing the previous LCD dash. The new display offers smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and offline maps, improving rider convenience.

For long-distance comfort, Benelli has added heated grips and a heated seat, making cold-weather touring more manageable. The bikes also feature a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ensuring optimal performance on varied terrains.

Performance and engine

Both the TRK 502 and TRK 502X are powered by a 500cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin DOHC engine, producing 47.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 46 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, featuring a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts.

TRK 502 vs. TRK 502X – Key Differences

  • TRK 502: Optimized for road touring, featuring 17-inch alloy wheels, 190mm ground clearance, and a seat height of 800mm.
  • TRK 502X: Designed for off-road adventures, equipped with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheels, 210mm ground clearance, and a higher seat height of 830mm.

The TRK 502 is priced at INR 6.20 lakh (ex-showroom), while the TRK 502X costs INR 6.70 lakh (ex-showroom). A limited-edition TRK 502X in yellow with golden rims is available for INR 6.85 lakh (ex-showroom).

Benelli has also introduced adjustable handlebar mounts with pitch level indicators, allowing riders to customize their riding posture. The redesigned aluminum swingarm improves handling and reduces weight.

Market position and rivals

The new Benelli series competes with Honda NX500, Suzuki V-Strom 650XT, and KTM 390 Adventure. With its rugged trellis frame, premium touring features, and competitive pricing, the TRK lineup remains a strong contender in the mid-size adventure motorcycle segment.
