The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 are set to go head-to-head in the adventure bike segment. Both bikes offer unique features and capabilities, but the KTM 390 Adventure seems to have an edge in terms of equipment and performance.

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is powered by a 398.63cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 46 PS and 39 Nm of torque. In contrast, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 features a 452cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 40 PS and 40 Nm of torque. While the Himalayan 450 has a slightly larger engine, the KTM 390 Adventure offers more power.

Suspension and Handling

The KTM 390 Adventure boasts a 43 mm WP Apex inverted shock and a WP Apex monoshock, both of which are fully adjustable. This setup provides superior handling and comfort, especially on rough terrains. The Himalayan 450, on the other hand, features a non-adjustable inverted fork and monoshock, which may limit its off-road capabilities.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is priced at around INR 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom), while the new  Adventure is expected to be priced around INR 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The KTM 390 Adventure offers more performance and features, making it a better option for those seeking a capable and exciting adventure bike.
