The A6 plug-in hybrid is powered by a 2.0 TFSI petrol engine, paired with an electric motor. Buyers can choose between two configurations:
- 295 BHP, 450 Nm – Accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds.
- 362 BHP, 500 Nm – Achieves 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
The high-voltage 25.9 kWh battery provides a 45% capacity increase over its predecessor, enabling over 100 km of electric-only driving.
Charging and efficiency
The A6 PHEV supports 11 kW AC charging, allowing a full recharge in just 2.5 hours. In EV mode, the top speed is 140 km/h, while the hybrid system enables a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
