Danish toymaker LEGO has announced the launch of its new model-building set of the Vespa 125 in global markets. Inspired by the iconic Piaggio Vespa, Lego has introduced the 3rd two-wheeler set after the BMW S1000RR and Ducati Panigale V4. Lego states that the elegant set of 1,106 pieces pays tribute to the original Vespa with a pastel blue colour. The company aims to light the fire and passion of iconic two-wheelers in young children and adults via these sets.
Vespa 125 Lego Kit: Details
To celebrate the legacy of the Vespa 125, LEGO offers the classic 1960s Italian licence plate and the Vespa logo. Mimicking the original Vespa, the kit includes beautiful details and sophisticated design touches, including a removable engine cover and the brick-built engine. Additionally, the model also features a kickstand and a working steering that further enhances the display factor of the set.
Overall, the finished Vespa 125 model measures 22 cm in height, 12 cm in length, and 35 cm in width. Other details of the model include the single-sided front suspension, 2 seats, spare wheel, crash helmet, and a rear-mounted flower bouquet. LEGO designers managed to create this exquisite kit by working closely with Italian scooter giant Piaggio to mimic the aesthetics.
