Lvneng, pronounced “Lu-Neng”, has announced the launch of its EV scooter, named S6. And from the very first glance, the scooter looks solid. The company has done some brilliant R&D on the product leveraging the tie-ups with other manufacturers. Now, the company is expanding its presence to other Asian and European markets. From France, the company has six models to choose from, including the latest launch, i.e. S6.

What Is The Lvneng S6?

A retro-styled scooter, one can find some similarities with the Vespa scooters. But, to make a difference, there are some subtle additions. The S6’s aim is to capture Vespa Elettrica’s market. Both the scooters come with a premium price tag, but it is the S6 that is more aggressively priced.

Moreover, for the French marker, the scooter is also eligible for bonuses and rebates, thus reducing the cost evermore. Key features include a full-LED lighting system, a crisp digital instrument pod, a USB charging port, and even an immobiliser and keyless start. Other additions include whitewall tires and a brown top-stitched faux-leather saddle giving it a classy touch.

Mechanical And Battery Details

Powering the scooter is a rear-wheel mount electric motor from Bosch. The peak power output of the scooter is set at 4 kW. As per Lvneng, this scooter is capable of climbing a gradient up to 30 per cent that too with a pillion on the back. Top speed limited to 75 kmph, the scooter is perfect for intra-city trips. The battery pack consists of two units from LG. Lvneng claims a riding range of around 120 km under a single charge.
