TVS has launched the new TVS Raider commuter motorcycle in the Indian market at the price of INR 77,500 ex-showroom. TVS targets the global Gen Z audience with the new Naked Street Design of the TVS Raider. The TVS Raider comes with several features, including a first-in-segment – Ride Modes.
TVS Raider – Features
The TVS Raider comes with first-in-class features such as a reverse LCD digital speedometer. The brand also offers an optional 5-inch TFT cluster with Voice Assist and multiple ride modes. TVS is also offering first-in-segment under-seat storage with the Raider as well. An upcoming TVS SMARTXONNECT model will come with features such as a 5-inch TFT cluster, Bluetooth Connectivity, Voice Assist and Navigation. The motorcycle also comes with features such as helmet reminder and side stand indicator with engine inhibitor for safety.
TVS Raider – Design Highlights
The TVS Radier comes with a unique logo symbolising the TVS Motor Company’s design spirit and innovation. The motorcycle comes in a macho style with a solid and sculpted fuel tank. According to the brand, a sporty, compact and agile motorcycle for your everyday ride. The bike comes with an aggressive headlamp and taillamp. The company boasts that the design also improves the motorcycle’s visibility from the front and rear, improving safety. The motorcycle also features an ergonomically designed seat for both the rider and passenger. The Raider also comes with upright handlebars and relaxed footpegs that offer a comfortable ride.
TVS Raider – Engine Specifications
Powering the TVS Raider is a 124.8cc air-/oil-cooled 3V engine. The motor produces 11.2 Hp of power and 11.2 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is capable of sprinting from 0-60 kmph in just 5.9 seconds and is able to achieve a top speed of 99 kmph. The motor pairs with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine also comes with two riding modes – Eco and Power.
