Chinese Powersports manufacturer CFMoto has introduced a new Race Edition in the quarter-litre segment. The new motorcycle is the new CFMoto 250SR Race Edition. The bike now gets a new sporty new livery with bright orange and blue colours. The brand also introduced a racing livery in March this year, but the new paint theme is entirely different. CFMoto 250SR Race Edition - New Race Livery The new race livery features a combination of orange and blue. The theme also features component branding on the livery giving it an authentic race bike look. Pictures reveal high-performance component brand names such as NGK plugs, DID chain, Total engine oil, KYB suspension, CST tyres, etc. The new sporty colour is also likely to go on sale in the Chinese market, alongside the CF Moto turquoise, fluorescent green and black colour theme. CFMoto 250SR Race Edition - Engine Specifications Powering the CFMoto 250SR is a 249.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The quarter-litre motor with a DOHC valve distribution system and electronic fuel injection produces 27.8 PS of power and 22 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed transmission with an assist and slipper clutch. The Race Edition motorcycle does not come with any other unique features or power enhancements. The changes on the bike appear purely cosmetic. CFMoto 250SR Race Edition - Mechanical Features The CFMoto 250SR Race Edition comes with hydraulic damping type 37mm upside-down telescopic front forks and centre aligned monoshock. The motorcycle also features 17-inch aluminium alloy rims shod in 110/70 front and 140/60 rear tyres. Stopping power comes from 292mm single disc with four-piston stoppers on the front and 220mm single disc with a single-piston floating calliper on the rear. Competition Check It is improbable that CFMoto will launch the 250SR in the Indian market anytime soon.
