Modular Electric Vehicle (EV) company, Revamp Moto recently announced the launch of India’s first transformable EV, RM Buddie 25. Built completely in-house from the ground up. The company’s facility in Thane will manufacture the EV. Revamp has put on a sticker price of INR 66,999 for the RM Buddie 25. The booking for this vehicle is currently available at INR 999 on Revamp’s official website. The EV stays true to the DNA of tirelessly focusing on innovation. Revamp is India’s first EV 2-wheeler company to launch its product ‘Buddie’ in the Metaverse. Buyers can look for details on the launch in the Metaverse through Revamp’s social media channels. India’s First-Ever Transformable EV
Revamp is claiming the RM Buddie 25 as India’s first-ever transformable EV. With the Metaverse evolving and setting a benchmark for the future. Revamp through its product portfolio is set to define the benchmark of electric mobility in the two-wheeler segment in India.
Revamp Moto RM Buddie 25: Key Highlights
The Buddie uses the Modular Utility Platform. Here attachments like insulated boxes, carriers, saddle bags and many more are available as swappable attachments as per requirements. This is done keeping in mind the dynamics of people who are looking to purchase two-wheeler EVs with multiple use cases. The Buddie also features an IP 67 rated, Smart BMS and CAN-enabled battery pack. This allows it to travel 70 Km on a single charge with a top speed of 25 Km/hr. Revamp also developed and manufactured the battery packs in-house which are easily swappable within a minute. The Buddie charges from 0-80 per cent in around 1 hr 45 mins.
The EV supports smart connectivity and can map 40+ parameters through your smartphone thus making every #RideEasy. Emphasising the same, Buddie does not require a licence or registration to be ridden. The Buddie addresses the demands of not just regular users. But also looked at the needs of people who are always on the move and use their vehicles in more than one way. A completely indigenous product proudly Made in India, the Buddie comes with a payload capacity of 120 kg. This is further accompanied by swiftly and easily swappable attachments like a child seat, saddle stay and saddle bags, insulated box, carrier, base plate and base rack.
Purchase And Delivery Timeline
The Buddie is available for purchase through Revamp’s website. Revamp confirmed that it will soon commence trials of Buddie in multiple cities across the country. This will allow the users to have first-hand experience of the EV’s performance and its attachments. The purchase window will open on 16th December 2022 at 12 noon. Meanwhile, the deliveries will commence by April 2023.
