2025 Skoda Kodiaq deliveries start
The new-generation Kodiaq SUV was unveiled in India last month. Now, the company has started delivering the first batch of the pre-booked cars to the designated customers.
The new 2025 Kodiaq is based on the MQB37 platform, which houses a 7-seater layout and enhanced chassis strength and stability, as compared to the outgoing model.
The new Kodiaq is available in India in two variants: Sportline and L&K. The price for the base trim, i.e. the Sportline, is Rs 46.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
While the chassis and powertrain for both variants are the same, the exterior and interior highlights and features vary for both trims.
The new-gen Kodiaq comes equipped with advanced features, including a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, a 15-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electric front seats with ventilation function, and more.
Powering the new-age Kodiaq is the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. It develops 201 bhp and 320 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively.
The Kodiaq comes loaded with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and a 4X4 drivetrain as standard.
The 2025 Kodiaq competes with the new Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, Toyota Fortuner, and the upcoming MG Majestor.
Our verdict
The new Kodiaq can be booked online by using the official website, or by visiting the nearest Skoda showroom. The new model is a completely evolved version of the outgoing one, as it gets a new design, improved cabin, and the latest luxury features.
