2025 Kia Seltos – What to expect?

Hyundai’s documentary called “The Great Heritage: Car” has unintentionally released the side profile of the upcoming Kia Seltos new-gen model.

Visible in the last part of the documentary, the side profile of the unnamed SUV shows the future design language of the new-gen Seltos.

While majority of the cars were seen covered in the documentary, the suspected Kia Seltos new-ge model is seen without any cover, in a rather production-ready form.

The overall silhouette of the spotted SUV matches the spy images of the upcoming model. Additionally, it has a redesigned front with an upright stance, whereas the rear quarter features a triangular design like the new Kia K4.

2025 Kia Seltos hybrid

While not much info is available about it, we can estimate that the rear design will feature a new futuristic outlook with connected LED lights and sporty highlights.

Under the hood, Kia is set to bring a new strong-hybrid petrol engine to the global markets, including India. Meanwhile, the current powertrain options will continue to be offered on the new-gen model.

Kia has not released any timeline for the launch of the new Seltos, but we anticipate that it will be launched by the end of this year.

The Indian market is likely going to see the new-gen Seltos early next year.

Our verdict

The Kia Seltos SUV has been a popular choice among the new SUV buyers in India. However, its lack of big changes in design and cabin has eventually led to the decrement in sales. The new-gen model is likely to rectify the falling sales numbers of the brand in India.
