Renault India announced its monthly sales report for March 2021. The company recorded a growth of 278 per cent by selling 12,356 units for the month of March 2021 as compared to 3,269 units for the same period last year. The newly launched Kiger is generating a lot of engagements with the Renault brand and helping in improving the sales figure.

2021 Triber
Renault recently launched an updated version of the Triber with minor tweaks in the features list and exterior design. Now, the 2021 Triber comes with a dual-tone roof variant, though all the mechanicals remains the same. Many anticipated that Renault will launch the Triber with the turbo-petrol engine, but now it seems that will happen sometime in 2022. Powering the 2021 Triber is the same, 1.0-litre ‘Energy’ three-cylinder dual VVT petrol engine which makes 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. The MPV comes with two gearbox options, a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The 2021 updates include a new steering wheel with controls, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and a dual-horn setup. In the exteriors, the top-spec RXZ trim dual-tone finish will feature black finish roof rails, LED turn indicators, blacked-out ORVM and more. Triber gets a new colour option, named Cedar Brown along with the other colour which includes, Electric Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver and Metal Mustard

The launch of Kiger has increased the footfall of the customers to the Renault Showrooms across the country. Kiger along with its sibling Magnite has completely disrupted the compact SUV segment. The customers are greatly attracted by the value for money factor of the Kiger, as Renault has put on very competitive pricing. The price of the RXE base trim of Kiger starts at INR 5.45 lakhs (ex-showroom) and the price goes all the way up to 9.72 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-spec RXZ Turbo with the CVT gearbox. Customers have a plethora of options to choose from their choice of engine and gearbox as the Kiger comes with multiple powertrain options.
