Exterior and design enhancements
The Corolla Cross GR Sport features a sharper front fascia, with a more aggressive bumper design and blacked-out elements. The Toyota logo now sits on an illuminated bar, connecting the redesigned adaptive LED headlamps.
The SUV rides on black 19-inch alloy wheels, replacing the 18-inch dual-tone wheels found on the standard model. Toyota has also introduced an exclusive Storm Grey and black dual-tone exterior finish, reinforcing its GR Sport identity.
Interior and feature upgrades
Inside, the GR Sport variant gets Brin-Naub upholstery, a suede-like synthetic leather, with contrasting red stitching and GR logos on the seats. The centre console has been redesigned, featuring a larger storage box, new cupholders, and a sleeker gear knob.
The SUV retains its 10.5-inch infotainment touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, along with premium features like heated seats, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a heated steering wheel.
Performance and mechanical changes
The Corolla Cross GR Sport continues to offer two hybrid powertrains:
- Hybrid 140 – 1.8L petrol-electric setup producing 140 hp, with a 0-100 km/h time of 9.9 seconds.
- Hybrid 200 – 2.0L petrol-electric setup delivering 197 hp, with a 0-100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds (FWD) and 7.5 seconds (AWD).
Toyota has introduced a new Sport mode for the e-CVT gearbox, making acceleration and deceleration more aggressive. Additionally, the GR Sport variant sits 10mm lower, improving handling and stability.

The Corolla Cross GR Sport is expected to launch in select international markets, including Europe and Southeast Asia. Toyota has yet to confirm its India debut, though reports suggest the brand was evaluating a local rollout for 2026.
