2021 Renault Triber launched in India at INR 5.3 lakh with more features

Renault is offering the new 2021 Triber with mild updates and the new car makes its debut at the price of INR 5.30 lakh ex-showroom. The 2021 Renault Triber comes with a dual-tone roof variant, minor cosmetic updates and new feature additions. Under the hood, the naturally-aspirated engine continues duty and those thinking about the turbo-petrol variant, regular readers would know that our previous report confirmed the brand has deferred the Triber Turbo-Petrol to 2022.

Variants & Pricing

The Renault Triber is available in four variants – RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ. The brand offers both manual and automatic gearbox options on the Renault Triber and the MPV is sold with a single naturally-aspirated petrol engine option. Pricing on the RXE which is the entry-level trim starts at INR 5.30 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi and goes all the way up to INR 7.82 lakh ex-showroom Delhi for the top-of-the-line RXZ Easy-R Dual Tone trim.

Powertrain & Dimensions

Powering the Renault Triber is a BS6 emission-compliant 1.0-litre ‘Energy’ three-cylinder dual VVT petrol engine that produces 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. The engine comes with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). The Renault Triber comes with a front-wheel-drive architecture and claims 19 km/l of mileage. The MPV measures 3990mm in length, 1739mm in width, 1643 in height, 2636mm of the wheelbase and 182mm of ground clearance.

2021 Updates

The 2021 Triber comes with a dual-tone roof variant in the top RXZ trim, which features black finish roof rails, black ORVM housings with LED turn indicators, black A-, B-, and C-Pillar, a new Cedar Brown paint scheme adding to the colour palette that includes Electric Blue, Ice Cool White, Moonlight Silver and Metal Mustard exterior paint options. On the inside, the 2021 Renault Triber comes with a new control mounted steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and a new dual-horn setup. Other than the changes mentioned, the 2021 Renault Triber remains identical to the predecessor.
