Nissan Motor India has released its September 2022 sales report. The company’s cumulative wholesales for the month stood at 7,265 units. This figure breaks down as domestic wholesales of 3,177 units and export wholesalers of 4,088 units for the given period. The incremental wholesale YTD growth stood at 18 per cent as compared to the same period last year.
With the opening up of businesses, Nissan is able to sustain its sales momentum in domestic as well as export markets. The festive season has contributed significantly to increased demand for the Nissan Magnite across markets on the strength of its value proposition. Thus, Nissan is hopeful of carrying this momentum ahead. Therefore, improving supply and customer sentiments.
Nissan India mentioned that it continues to drive customer-centric efforts to cater to customers’ demands. The company aligns with the Global Nissan way, thus making sure of the highest standard.
Nissan India’s Quality Month Initiative
The company started a more recent initiative in this area. This is the Quality Month campaign that started on 26th September and runs till 11th November 2022. This initiative aims to improve customer satisfaction through the implementation of Nissan’s global standard practices. The campaign runs on the theme of the ‘Always think of the customer first’ ideology. The key pillars of the campaign enhance customer convenience with Express Service, Pick Drop service, Doorstep services, and Service Clinic. Meanwhile, it will also provide value through genuine parts and accessories and the lowest cost of maintenance at 31 paise per km. Customer Trust is driven by Nissan’s warranty of 2 years (50,000kms) which can be extended for up to 5 years (100,000 km) at a nominal cost.
The Nissan Magnite Across The World
The Nissan Magnite is now being exported to over 15 countries from India. The most recent market launches have been in Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. Nissan India commenced exports back in September 2010 and currently exports vehicles from its Renault-Nissan Automotive India Ltd. plant in Chennai to over 108 countries. This includes New Zealand, Australia, and Middle Eastern countries; and countries in Europe, Latin America, South-East Asia, SAARC, Sub Sahara, and Africa. In recent years, Nissan India has shifted its main focus to the export market from Europe to Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
