Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the updated Avenis Standard variant, now compliant with OBD-2B emission norms. This update ensures real-time emission monitoring, keeping the scooter future-ready and environmentally responsible.
Updated Suzuki Avenis engine and performance
The Avenis Standard retains its 124.3cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, delivering 8.7 PS at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Built on Suzuki’s SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) platform, the engine promises refined performance and improved fuel efficiency.

Suzuki has packed the Avenis Standard with modern features, including:
- Fully digital instrument cluster displaying battery voltage, oil change indicator, trip meters, engine temperature, and real-time fuel consumption.
- LED headlamps and taillamps, ensuring better visibility.
- USB-equipped front storage box for charging devices on the go.
- 21.8 liters of underseat storage, offering ample space for essentials.
- External fuel filler cap for easy refueling.

The Avenis Standard continues to sport a sharp, motorcycle-inspired design, reinforcing its aggressive stance. Suzuki offers the scooter in four dual-tone colorways:

The Avenis Standard competes with TVS NTorq 125, Honda Dio 125, and Hero Xoom 125. While the NTorq offers similar sporty styling, the Dio 125 focuses on Honda’s refinement, making the Avenis a strong contender for young, style-conscious riders.
