Mercedes-Benz adds a new workshop facility in Bengaluru, thus taking the total count to 4 in the city. The workshop will operate under the name of Akshaya Motors, located at Hosur Road. This is also the first workshop in the southern part of India that makes use of the MAR 2020 concept. Mercedes-Benz claims that this facility can service over 4,500 cars per year. Spread over an area of 20,000 sq. ft, the workshop has a total of 11 service bays.
A total of 50 professionally trained staff will ensure to provide the customers with the best service experience. Further, Mercedes-Benz also confirmed that this workshop facility could service all models on sale in India, including the newly launched EQC luxury EV. With this new workshop, Mercedes-Benz India has its presence in over 47 cities with over 100 customer-touch points across the country.
Mercedes Benz India’s MAR 2020 Concept
MAR 2020 is an initiative of Mercedes Benz on a global level that offers a unique experience with the combination of the digital and physical worlds. There are four main pillars associated with this initiative. These are Design, Architecture, Customer-oriented processes, and Digital. Under this, the company brings in spatial design, innovative advisory processes, and digitalization in service, ensuring ‘Best Customer Experience’. This new retail presentation focuses on Design and Architecture, Format and Structure, People and Processes and Digitization. Akshaya Motors aims to create a luxury ownership experience for its customers with a combination of all these.
Mercedes-Benz’s Premier Express Prime 2.0
This is a special service option for the customers who wish to get their car serviced in under 3 hours. And if they fail to do so, Mercedes Benz won’t charge for the service cost. The company is rolling out this service facility in a phased manner. The target is to cover 18 outlets across 11 cities by Q1 2022. Customers visiting Akshaya Motors can avail of this service. The services included under Premier Express Prime include Oil and oil filter check and replacement, Brake Fluid replacement, Dust Filter Replacement, Wheel rotation, Coolant Antifreeze mixture ratio check, Washing, Interior and Exterior Cleaning, Fuel Filter check, Air Filter replacement, Diesel Fuel filter, Brake discs and Brake pads, Wheel Balancing and more.
