JK Tyres and Industries recently tied up with Hyundai Motor India for providing OEM tyres for Hyundai Creta. Now the brand has become the OEM Tyre provider for the all-new Hyundai Alcazar. The company further mentioned that JK Tyres will provide tyres to all the variants of the Hyundai Alcazar.
Driven by its technological prowess, JK Tyre equips the Alcazar with its UX Royale 215/60 R17 radial tyre. The 5-Rib asymmetric design with variable draft groove technology provides the tyre with utmost comfort without compromising the handling. The tyres’ stable shoulder tread blocks, waffle groove, and aero wing design help improve the overall ride quality, especially on Indian roads.
Hyundai Alcazar – The Latest Entrant In The Three-Row SUV Segment
The demand for SUVs in the country seems to increase day by day. Customers these days are not in favour of any other body type if an SUV is available for their given budget. The three-row SUV segment has seen a massive demand recently, following the launch of the Tata Safari. And with the introduction of the Hyundai Alcazar, this segment will eat up sales of other segments. The Alcazar is based on Creta, the top-selling SUV in the country, and it won’t be a surprise if the SUV ends up outselling its competitors in the market. Since the launch of the SUV, it has received a warm response from customers.
Variants And Price Details
Hyundai Alcazar is available with two seating layouts, 6-seater and 7-seater. But, the top-spec Signature is only available with the 6-seater layout. The other two trims on the offer are Prestige and Platinum, which are available with both 6-seater and 7-seater seating options. Hyundai has put on a generous price tag for the Alcazar that starts from INR 16.30 lakh and goes all the way till INR 20.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The other options in this segment include the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. And soon, Mahindra’s upcoming XUV700 will further make this segment much more competitive.
