Scheduled for a market debut next month, Hyundai has revealed the design renders of their upcoming hatchback. Dubbed as the AH2 for now, this car could be christened as the Santro when launched in the market. The Santro has a strong acceptance in the budget hatchback space, and for the AH2, it can do wonders considering the positive sentiment from customers.
Hyundai calls this a tall boy hatchback, and the render reveals that the car will have generous greenhouse with large glass areas. There will be bold cuts and crease lines all around to make it look like a modern car in the entry level hatchback space. The rear glass section, you can notice has a kink which makes the window sill lower than the front.
When launched the Hyundai AH2 could also replace the Eon, which has been a slow selling car for quite some time.
Expect a petrol engine only on the AH2 / Santro and a AMT gearbox as well.
