Hyundai has silently launched a LPG powered variant of the Grand i10 hatchback priced at Rs. 4.92 lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
This LPG powered variant will be available only in one trim level, magna. But, it is not just the alternative fuel option which is new to this particular variant, the engine is different too. The Grand i10 LPG will be powered by a 1.0L Kappa petrol engine, and not the 1.2L Kappa engine powering the other petrol variants of the hatchback.
This 1.0L engine is a 3-cylinder DOHC unit producing 67 PS of power in LPG mode and 69 PS of power in petrol mode. Torque figures are rated at 90 Nm in LPG mode and 92 Nm in petrol mode. The LPG variant is available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. LPG tank capacity is 34 litres.
Termed as the Grand i10 blue drive, this particular variant comes with a 2-year unlimited kilometers warranty. Feature list remains the same compared to other magna variants of the petrol and diesel powered versions of the Grand i10.
