Honda Cars India Ltd. releases its sales report for August 2021. The carmaker mentioned that they sold 11,177 units for the given period, compared to 7,509 units for the same period last year. This results in year-on-year growth of 49 per cent. The sales figure for July 2021, i.e. last month, stood at 6,055 units, which translates to a month on month growth of 85 per cent. The export figure stood at 2,282 units for August 2021 instead of 450 units in August 2020.
The opening up of businesses and offices is aiding in increasing sales in the automotive industry. Honda mentioned that the festival of Onam in Southern India has already kick-started the festive season. And soon various other regions will have their festivals, thus boosting the overall sales.
Honda Amaze Facelift Launched
Honda recently updated one of its successful products in the Indian market, i.e. the Amaze. The compact sedan has been selling in significant numbers ever since it made it into the Indian market. And now, with this facelift update, Amaze looks so much better and right up with what the competition offers. To help the customers ease ownership and buying experience, Honda has launched a host of low EMI and Flexi term plans. This ensures that customers do not face any difficulties while owning a Honda product. In addition to this, Honda is also offering customised schemes for specific customers like farmers etc.

Honda’s current lineup has four products. This includes Honda Jazz, Honda WR-V, Honda City and Honda Amaze. Both the sedan offerings, i.e. City and Amaze, are the bread and butter for Honda, and both are selling in good numbers. Along with this, Honda also has a wide range of certified pre-owned cars. Honda mentioned that all these cars come with an assurance of quality, which provides peace of mind to the customers.
