(HCIL) has announced that all its vehicles manufactured and sold in India are now E20 compliant. This means they are capable of running on petrol blended with 20% ethanol. This achievement underscores Honda's commitment to sustainable mobility and its support for India's transition to greener fuels. With this compliance, customers can use E20 petrol in their existing Honda cars without any need for modifications or concerns about durability. The Government of India has mandated that all gasoline-fueled mono-fuel and bi-fuel vehicles with positive ignition engines, including hybrids, manufactured on and after April 1, 2025, must be certified for E20 fuel to comply with emission norms. Honda's proactive approach places it ahead of this mandate, ensuring that its customers are ready for the transition to E20 fuel.
