The 2025 Kia Carens has been spotted completely undisguised during a TV commercial shoot in Himachal Pradesh, revealing its refreshed design ahead of its official launch on May 8, 2025. The leaked images showcase significant styling updates, particularly at the rear, where the MPV now sports vertically stacked LED taillights connected by a full-width LED light bar.

Design updates

The front fascia retains Kia’s signature split headlamp setup, but the L-shaped LED DRLs appear more upright, giving the Carens a sharper look. The rear bumper has been redesigned with a silver insert, adding a premium touch. The MPV also gets new dual-tone alloy wheels, further enhancing its road presence.

Interior and features

Inside, the 2025 Carens is expected to receive premium upgrades, including a dual 10.25-inch screen setup, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a premium Bose sound system, and a panoramic sunroof. Kia is also introducing wireless charging with a cooling function, ensuring convenience for tech-savvy buyers.

Mechanically, the 2025 Carens remains unchanged, continuing with its three engine options:

  • 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol (115 hp, 144 Nm) with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
  • 1.5L turbo-petrol (160 hp, 253 Nm) with iMT and 7-speed DCT.
  • 1.5L turbo-diesel (116 hp, 250 Nm) with manual and automatic transmission options.

Expected pricing

The 2025 Kia Carens is expected to be priced between ₹11 lakh and ₹21 lakh (ex-showroom). The current model is priced between ₹10.60 lakh and ₹19.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
