Last year Ford India launched the BS6 compliant version of its compact-SUV the Ford EcoSport priced starting from INR 8.04 lakh available in both BS6 petrol and diesel fuel options. While the Ford EcoSport was available in 7 trim options in the petrol version, the compact-SUV was only available with the Automatic gearbox in just one trim, the Titanium+ AT, until now.
Ford has announced that the brand has introduced another Automatic transmission trim to its existing line-up called the Titanium AT. The new Ford EcoSport Titanium AT trim is priced at INR 10.66 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi and is positioned below the Titanium+ AT trim which is priced at INR 11.56 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Ford EcoSport Titanium AT is paired to the same BS6 compliant 1.5L three-cylinder Ti-VCT petrol engine that delivers 122 PS of power and 149 Nm of torque. The Automatic Transmission option features a 6-speed Torque Converter type gearbox and offers segment-first features such as paddle shifters, cruise control and push start/stop.
The Ford EcoSport Titanium AT features LED daytime lights, projector headlamps with quad beam reflector headlamps with halogen lamps and chrome bezel, a large front grille, flared wheel arches, satin aluminium roof rails, dual reversing lamps and high mounted stop light, front and rear bumper applique etc. On the inside, the Ford EcoSport Titanium AT features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with embedded navigation Bluetooth connectivity, dual USB ports and vehicle connectivity with FordPass. 10.67-cm instruments cluster with chrome rings, fuel computer, theatre dimming cabin lights, gear shift indicator, audio control mounted steering wheel etc.
In view of safety from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ford has also launched the Dial-A-Ford online sales network via a dedicated toll-free number as well as an online booking portal that allows buyers to select, book and avail doorstep delivery of their new Ford, from the safety and comfort of their homes.
