Skoda Kylaq May 2025 price revision details

Skoda launched the Kylaq SUV back in 2024, while its deliveries began in early 2025. Immediately after the launch, it became the most popular and best-selling Skoda car. Reason? Its introductory price was lucrative at Rs 7.89 lakh.

Now, the Chez carmaker has ended the introductory price period, which has further led to the price revision for the complete lineup. With the new pricing implemented, the top variants, Prestige and Prestige AT, have undergone a hefty cut of Rs 40,000 and Rs 46,000, respectively.

Meanwhile, the popular base trim Classic and middle-trim Signature have witnessed a price hike ranging from Rs 26,000 to Rs 36,000. A detailed price list of the new Kylaq variants is as follows:

Variants New price Old price Difference
Calssic Rs 8.25 lakh Rs 7.89 lakh +Rs 36,000
Signature Rs 9.85 lakh Rs 9.59 lakh +Rs 26,000
Signature AT Rs 10.95 lakh Rs 10.59 lakh +Rs 36,000
Signature+ Rs 11.25 lakh Rs 11.40 lakh -Rs 15,000
Signature+ AT Rs 12.35 lakh Rs 12.40 lakh -Rs 5,000
Prestige Rs 12.89 lakh Rs 13.35 lakh -Rs 46,000
Prestige AT Rs 13.99 lakh Rs 14.40 lakh -Rs 41,000

Is Skoda Kylaq a flop car?

While the latest price revision has reduced the sticker price for the top variants, it is the base and mid-variants that are selling in the majority. In fact, Skoda pulled 5,327 unit sales for the Kylaq brand in March 2025 itself.

Hence, the price cut signifies that Skoda wants customers to opt for the top variants as well. But, the overall sales and the price packaging of the vehicle indicate that it is a good option compared to its rivals, like the Tata Nexon.

Our verdict

Skoda Kylaq offers good value due to its sturdy build quality and the peppy turbo-petrol engine combination. Its top trims are loaded with advanced features, including electric seats, sunroof, LED lights, and more.
