2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 X new colour update
The Scrambler 400 X is a more rugged and off-road-centric model based on the Speed 400. It is the second model in the 400cc lineup of the brand in India.
Earlier, the Scrambler 400 X was available in a brighter Volcanic Red paint scheme, which was meshed with black contrast highlights. It has now been replaced by a new Lava Red Satin paint scheme, combined with the black highlights.
The new colour looks more premium and vibrant compared to the old Volcanic Red paint. With the new colour, the pricing for the scrambler has also increased by Rs 758, thus taking the sticker price to Rs 2.67 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from the addition of new colour, the rest of the motorcycle is unaltered. It continues to be offered with features like LED lights, a semi-digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, dual-channel ABS, USD forks, all-terrain tyres, and more.
Powering the Scrambler 400 X is a 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It is coupled with a smooth 6-speed transmission and develops 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively.
The Triumph Scrambler 400 X competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

Our verdict
The Scrambler 400 X is a capable dual-sport motorcycle that can tackle off-road trails and cover long-distance touring. The new colour update is likely to attract more buyers towards the already good scrambler bike.
