Bugatti reveals final W16 supercar, the Chiron L’Ultime

Bugatti is bidding farewell to the Chiron which first first wowed the world back 8 years ago in Geneva, where it was revealed. The Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime has been hand-assembled by the craftspeople in Molsheim and will be limited to just 500 units.

Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime – Colours

The final edition of the Chiron – the Chiron L’Ultime has been revealed in the classic ‘Atlantic Blue’ with ‘French Racing Blue’ colour. The Bugatti Chiron also comes with French flag applied to its wing mirrors representing the birthplace of the brand and the car. Also, the Chiron L’Ultime also comes with hand-written places and events on its side. The names of places that helped to build the legend of the Chiron.

Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime – Special Features

The Chiron L’Ultime also gets a special horseshoe mesh finished in ‘Atlantic Blue’ and a tailored blue Bugatti macaron that sits on the grille, which has been exclusively designed and developed for this farewell edition car. The Chiron L’Ultime is based on the Chiron Super Sport and the special edition model features coloured wheels.

The Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime also comes with the hand-written number ‘500’, commemorating the very last Chiron. The number ‘500’ is present on the exteriors, the wheel caps, as well as engraved on the engine cover of the 1,500 PS roadgoing Bugatti W16 powertrain. The number also signifies the 500 incomparable works of art, inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s original vision.

The number ‘500’ is not only on the Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime’s exteriors and engine but also finds place on the interiors. The cabin is adorned by ‘Deep Blue’ leather and ‘Blue Carbon Matt’ high-tech finishes. This not only reverberates with the iconic Bugatti ‘French Racing Blue’ shade but also the special car’s exteriors.

The Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime also features hand-woven ‘Deep Blue’ leather. The leather is is hand-cut, hand-stitched and applied to each door panel. The car also features carbon fiber panels inside the cabin matching the bespoke exteriors of the car.

Bugatti Chiron L’Ultime – Chiron’s Successor

With this Bugatti will be parting ways with the iconic W16 engine, as the Chiron’s successor is likely to be unveiled next month which will be powered by a V16 Hybrid engine – Bugatti’s first ever hybrid engine.
