Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced the addition of two new colours for the Yezdi Roadster model. To date, the retro-modern Yezdi Roadster was available in 5 matte colour options across dark and chrome themes. Now, with the two all-new gloss colour options, it will increase the Yezdi Roadster’s appeal as well as give more choices for buyers. Apart from the new colour options, the bike remains mechanically the same.
2022 Yezdi Roadster – New Colour Options
The Yezdi Roadster now comes with two new colour options – Inferno Red and Glacial White. Both the colours come with a gloss finish on the fuel tank and an Obsidian Black theme across the rest of the motorcycle. Jawa Yezdi has christened the two new colour options as ‘Fire & Ice’. Both the colour options of the Yezdi Roadster will retail for INR 2,01,142 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
2022 Yezdi Roadster – Overview
Jawa Yezdi claims the Roadster, with its naked, well-proportioned form, potent engine and capable chassis, delivers the ultimate rush, be it in the city or on highways. The Roadster gets split seats, a compact circular LED headlamp, alloy wheels and chopped fenders to add to the overall design flair. It also features a digital instrument cluster with all the necessary information available.
As for the engine, it uses a 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine. It delivers 29.7 PS of power at 7,300 rpm and 29 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The Roadster uses a 6-speed transmission and also benefits from an Assist & Slipper Clutch.
The Roadster uses a dual-cradle chassis, which Yezdi claims gives it great on-road manners. It also gives it stability in a straight line as well as around corners. As for the brakes, it uses a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear. It also gets a Dual-Channel ABS by Continental.
