TVS Motor Company has introduced a new ES+ variant for its Sport commuter motorcycle, priced at INR 60,881 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The ES+ trim sits between the base ES variant and the top-end ELS variant, offering a sportier design and added convenience features.
Design and features
The TVS Sport ES+ gets two new color schemes—Grey Red and Black Neon—which stand out from the existing lineup. The fuel tank graphics, front fender, and headlight cowl are color-coded, adding a premium touch.
Interestingly, the ES+ variant is the only model in the Sport lineup to feature a black pillion grab rail, while other trims get a silver finish. The alloy wheels now sport pinstriping, color-matched to the bodywork, enhancing its youthful appeal.
Performance and engine
Powering the TVS Sport ES+ is a 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 8.08 bhp at 7,350 RPM and 8.7 Nm of torque at 4,500 RPM. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox, enabling a claimed top speed of 90 km/h.
The bike retains RSU telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, ensuring a comfortable ride. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both ends, keeping costs in check.
Added convenience
TVS has equipped the ES+ with a USB charging port, allowing riders to charge their devices on the go. The 10L fuel tank and 175mm ground clearance make it a practical choice for daily commuting.
Market position and rivals
The TVS Sport ES+ competes with Hero HF Deluxe, Bajaj Platina 110, and Honda CD 110 Dream, offering a balance of affordability and performance.
