2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 caught road testing ahead of debut

Written by News Team

Bajaj Auto is gearing up for the launch of the 2025 Pulsar RS200, as the bike was recently spotted undergoing road tests. The spy shots reveal that the upcoming model will retain the design elements of its predecessor, with minor updates expected in the mechanicals and features.

What we know?

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 continues to sport the dual-projector headlamps with DRLs placed above them, giving it a distinctive look. The fairing design remains largely unchanged, though there might be slight modifications under the camouflage.

Mechanically, the bike is expected to be similar to the outgoing model, powered by the same 199.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This engine produces 24.1 bhp of power and 18.7 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The bike will likely feature telescopic front forks and a gas-charged rear monoshock, similar to the previous version.

Pulsar RS200 Changes?

One notable change is the wider rear tire, replacing the 130-section tire with a 140-section tire for better grip and stability. The braking setup is expected to remain the same, with single-disc brakes at both ends.

The instrument cluster is anticipated to be upgraded, borrowing the digital unit from the Pulsar NS200, which includes Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. This update will enhance the bike’s tech features, making it more appealing to modern riders.

Launch Timeline and Competition

Bajaj Auto has been teasing the launch of the 2025 Pulsar RS200 for some time now, and the road tests confirm that the launch is imminent. The bike is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025, with deliveries likely to commence shortly after. The new Bajaj motorcycle will compete with other sporty motorcycles in its segment like the KTM RC200 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF. With its proven engine and updated components, the new RS200 is poised to be a strong contender in the market.
