The Red Dark Safari is finally here. This special edition is in line with its strategy to introduce new series lineups at regular intervals. Safari Red Black edition is the new top-spec variant of these SUVs. This will work as the successor to the discontinued Jet Editions. With Red Dark editions, customers now have more options to choose from.
What Is The Red Dark Edition From Tata?
Tata Red Dark editions have a multitude of unique features, thus adding its value against rivals. Tata Red Dark Safari gets the Oberon Black exterior paint. This is the exact same shade available with ‘Dark’ editions of these SUVs. But the differentiation comes with the use of red inserts. We find them on the front grille, fenders and brake callipers. The red bits have been kept minimal across exteriors. This perfectly showcases the dark colour shade. Tata has put on a sticker price of INR 22.62 for the Safari Red Dark edition.
What Are The Interiors Like On The Safari Red Dark?
One key highlight of the Red Dark editions is the interiors. As seen with opulent Carnelian Red leatherette upholstery, armrest and door handles, adding to the special touch. The Centre console too gets the Carnelian Red treatment. To further add to the exciting contrast with the red shade are the glossy black elements. The interiors are further enhanced with the use of a red-black theme with red ambient lighting around door handles and a panoramic sunroof.
ADAS Tech Now Available With Safari
The biggest talking point on the Safari Red Dark Editions is the addition of ADAS safety tech. With this, the SUV now gets Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane change assists and traffic sign recognition. As mentioned, the Red Dark edition is based on the top-spec variants. And thus it gets the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and a 360-degree camera.
The Safari also benefits from the memory function for the driver’s seat. The Safari also benefits from ventilated seats for the second row. With the Red Dark edition, the SUV equips red ambient lighting. We find them near the door handles and around the panoramic sunroof.
