Just a couple of days back Tata Motors had teased us about the Red Dark Edition of the Nexon. Now, the Indian carmaker has launched the 2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark launched at a starting price of INR 12.35 lakh for the petrol and INR 13.70 for the diesel.
We have seen that Tata Motors is constantly adding special edition series to its lineup of products. These help keep the customers involved and the product fresh in their minds. The Tata name is hence always in the news and many customers take a note of the same. With the Dark Editions as well, customers will want a change as compared to the standard model. Hence, Tata will be able to get some more volume for the already popular SUV while the customers get a unique offering – a win for both of them.
What’s new on the 2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition?
On the outside, the car comes with an Oberon Black colour, Zircon red inserts in the grille, red Dark logos on the fenders and 16-inch Blackstone alloys.
Coming to the insides, the Nexon now gets a Carnelian Red theme, leatherette seats, steel black dashboard design and red accents on steering wheel, console and the door cards. Tata Motors has also offered ventilated front seats on the Nexon Red Dark Edition.
Powertrain of the 2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition
Tata offers two engines on the Nexon. These include a 1.2-litre turbo petrol that churns out 120 HP and 170 Nm of peak torque and a 1.5-litre diesel that is rated at 110 HP and 260 Nm of torque. Tata offers 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT gearboxes options on both the engines.
Increased warranty on 2023 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition
Apart from all these changes, Tata Motors has delighted the owners by offering an improved standard warranty of 1 lakh km / 3 years.
