In a new set of spy shots from international soil, the all-new Hyundai Exter has been fully revealed before official debut. Hyundai’s upcoming Exter so far was only shown to us as teasers, but these spy shots give us a clear idea about the exterior design. Although the pitch could be to make the Exter seem like an SUV, this is more of a hatchback crossover, almost like what other compact-SUVs in the sub-4-meter category are. This new Hyundai Exter will rival the likes of Tata Punch in the Indian market and will be positioned below the Hyundai Venue.
Hyundai Exter Features:
With these spy shots where the Exter is not draped in any camouflage, we can make note of almost all exterior design features. The new 2023 Hyundai Exter will come with H shaped LED DRLs below the bonnet shut line, projector headlamp with chrome accents in a square cut out, plenty of horizontal lines on the front bumper, typical SUV style flat bonnet front dascia, plenty of body cladding all around, LED turn indicators on the ORVMs, A & B pillar blacked out with a little black on the C pillar as wekk, roof rails, keyless door opening, flared & squared wheel arches, H shaped LED tail lamp, sharkfin antenna, visible exhaust end pipes, contrast applique housing the Hyundai logo on the tail gate and dual tone alloy wheels. Expect the Hyundai Exter to be the most feature rich micro SUV in the segment.
Hyundai Exter Price:
Hyundai’s Exter will be priced below the Venue compact-SUV. But given the looks and size, we think it will be priced similar to the i20 premium hatchback. We don’t know if the Exter will get a turbo-petrol engine, but if not, the Exter will have it’s top trims hence priced well below the i20 making a strong case of itself. Expect a price range of INR 7 – 10 lakh ex-showroom for this all-new Exter in India.
