In the recent past, we reported that Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch a major update on the Vitara Brezza. The upcoming SUV will not only see updates to the exteriors but also its interiors. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will also come with the latest generation digital architecture but underpin the same Suzuki Global C platform. However, expect updates to the safety department to keep up with other SUVs in the segment.
New Design New Name
Maruti Suzuki is likely to drop the VITARA prefix from the name and call the new SUV just BREZZA. Spyshots of the SUV reveal the BREZZA typography in bold on the tailgate. The car features a new design with changes to both soft parts as well as sheet metal. The SUV comes with new body panels, new headlamps and taillamps. The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza is likely to have a quad headlamp setup with sharp bumpers and a skid plate. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza also comes with plastic cladding on the side and wraparound taillamps with a slender light signature.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza – Features
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza will come with a new dashboard and is also likely to come with new upholstery. The Brezza will come with new features such as a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and a semi-digital instruments cluster. The instruments cluster will feature a colour multi-information display in the centre. Interestingly, spy shots also reveal that the new Brezza will come with Connected Features, offering SOS emergency features and RSA (Road-Side Assistance) in case of emergency. The Brezza will also come with a multifunctional steering wheel and is likely to share internal bits with the new Baleno.
