Honda has launched the all-new CB200X in the Indian market, adding another contender to the entry-level adventure segment. Until now, the Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 and Xpulse 200T dominated the entry-level 200cc adventure and touring segment. Now the brand announced that the Honda CB200X will come with a sticker price of INR 1,44,500 ex-showroom. According to Honda, the CB200X is crafted for everyday use as well as short weekend rides beyond the city. The motorcycle with an upswept exhaust, high ground clearance, rugged tyres and a tall visor allows the user to take the bike on the road less travelled.
Honda CB200X – Design Highlights
The Honda CB200X features an upright fairing with a tall visor and stacked LED headlamps. The bike also features knuckle guards integrated with LED turn signal lamps and sharp tank cowling. The CB200X comes with a tall windscreen that reduces wind resistance and enhances the aerodynamic efficiency of the motorcycle. The visor and fairing also offer weather protection to the rider. The CB200X comes with a sleek tail section, gold finish front stanchions, a black finish engine and an upswept exhaust.
Honda CB200X – Ergonomics
The Honda CB200X features an urban explorer design blending the daily commute with long-distance riding. The motorcycle comes with an upright handlebar reducing any kind of fatigue to the rider. The swaged handlebar adds ruggedness inspired by Honda’s Big Adventure machines. The motorcycle comes with a long & comfortable Sporty Split Step Seat to ensure comfort on both the rider and pillion. The pillion also gets a reassuring grab rail for safety and comfort. The commanding 810mm seat height and mid-set footpegs, along with a raised handlebar position, ensure a comfortable rider’s triangle.
Honda CB200X – Engine Specifications
Powering the Honda CB200X is a BS6-compliant 184cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) engine comes with sophisticated onboard sensors that continuously monitor and optimise the fuel and air mixture to maintain a balance between performance and efficiency. The engine also comes with a roller rocker arm to reduce the frictional losses and piston cooling jets to improve the thermodynamic efficiency of the engine. The motor produces 17.3 PS of power and 16.1 Nm of torque.
Honda CB200X – Mechanical Specifications
The Honda CB200X comes with a diamond type steel frame that rides on Golden Upside Down front forks and Mono-Shock Rear Suspension. Stopping power comes from Petal Disc Brakes on the front and rear equipped with ABS. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch 5Y Shaped Alloy Wheels shod in 110mm front and 140mm rear special Tough Tread Pattern Tyres.

The Honda CB200X features a Fully Digital Liquid Crystal Meter that comes with 5 levels of brightness. The instruments cluster displays speed, odometer, Gear Position, Service Due, Battery Volt etc. The bike also comes with all-LED lighting, engine stop switch, hazard switch, key on the tank, etc.
Honda CB200X – Colour & Warranty
The Honda CB200X comes with Sports Red, Pearl Nightstar Black and Matte Selene Silver Metallic colour options. The brand is also offering a 6-year warranty package with 3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty. Honda also announced that bookings on the CB200X are now open, and deliveries on the motorcycle will commence from September 2021.
