Mahindra has launched the 2019 Bolero Camper range starting from INR 7.26 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. Currently available in three variants – Bolero Camper Non-AC, Bolero Camper 4WD, Bolero Camper Gold VX, and a new variant Bolero Camper ZX has been added to the line-up with this launch. The new camper range will be available with a 3-year/1 lakh km warranty and 24×7 road-side assistance.
The new Bolero Camper Gold ZX offers an increased payload capacity of 1,000 kg and has a dual cabin with pick-up design targeted at farmers, construction companies as well as small and medium enterprises, to be used for passenger and equipment carrying purposes. The facelift pick-up features a new fascia, reflector headlamps, sliding and reclining front seats with headrests, retractable seat belts, powerful AC, faux leather seats, power windows, central locking, new floor console, power steering, radial tyres, body graphics, etc.
In the engine department, the Bolero Camper range is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged, M2DiCR engine that produces 63 PS of power and 195 Nm of torque mated to an all-synchromesh 5-speed manual transmission with the option of 2-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-drive.
In term of mechanical hardware, the Bolero Camper Gold gets independent front suspension with hydraulic double acting shock absorbers and coil springs and a rigid axle with leaf spring on the rear. Whereas, the Bolero Camper 2WD and 4WD options get rigid axle with leaf spring on both the front and rear. The brakes are hydraulic discs on the front and internally expanding drum brakes on the rear.
