With the Auto Expo 2018 inching closer, more and more spyshots of interesting products are cropping up on the internet. This time, a Yamaha Aerox 155 scooter has been spotted at a dealership, and chances are, that this new scooter could be revealed to the Indian audience at the Auto Expo 2018 in the coming weeks.
Since it was spotted at a dealership, it could be possible that the scooter was present there for a dealer & service training ahead of the official debut.
Powering the Aerox 155 is a single-cylinder, 155cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected petrol motor producing 14 BHP of power and 13.8 Nm of torque matched to the conventional automatic gearbox. The scooter will get Variable Valve Actuation as well. Just like arch rival Aprilia SR 150, this new Yamaha Aerox 155 will also sport 14″ rims with wider tyres.
The Aerox 155 will get features such as LED tail lamps, LED headlamps, 25L storage space, smart ket, digital instrument console, alloy wheels, front disc brake, charging socket, fuel tank placed in front of the rider (under) and telescopic front fork.
However, Yamaha is known to not be very aggressive in their product strategy. This Aerox 155 scooter could also be here just for brand building, and only for display at the Auto Expo 2018.
