After the successful launch of the 2022 Gold Line limited editions. Triumph now introduces yet another limited edition motorcycle series named, the Chrome Collection. Inspired by the custom chrome design heritage of the brand’s iconic past, the Chrome Collection commemorates Triumph’s chrome-detailing facility.
Rocket 3 R Chrome Edition
The new Rocket 3 R Chrome Edition looks pretty good. The motorcycle with its monochrome shade and flawless full chrome fuel tank with its Jet Black accent adds to the exclusiveness. The use of Black mudguards, headlight bowls, fly screens, radiator cowls, side panels and rear bodywork further adds to the touch. The Matt Aluminium upper radiator cowl and fork guards provide a contrasting outlook against the black engine and bodywork.
Rocket 3 R is the largest capacity production motorcycle with record-breaking torque. This ultimate high-performance roadster has the capability to hit a staggering 221 Nm peak at 4,000rpm. Then the 2,500cc three-cylinder engine is in a class of its own with an engine character like no other motorcycle.
The use of the latest technology helps to ensure the smoothest power delivery possible. The motorcycle benefits from the ride-by-wire throttle, four riding modes, and safety features in the form of traction control and ABS. Suspension duty is taken care of by two-way adjustable Showa 47mm USD forks with 120mm travel, and a fully adjustable Showa piggyback reservoir monoshock RSU with 107mm of wheel travel. Braking comes courtesy of top-spec twin Brembo Stylema callipers matched to 320mm discs.
Triumph mentioned that the chrome edition is available for one year only. There’s also a dedicated Rocket 3 R Chrome Edition Accessory Kit that compliments this stunning new edition.
Rocket 3 GT Chrome Edition
Then we have the Rocket 3 GT which redefines the cruiser category. With the incredible numbers on the spec sheet and its effortless touring capability. Rocket 3 GT is an incredible motorcycle. The Rocket 3 GT Chrome Edition is available alongside the Rocket 3 R. Both share the same full chrome tank with an eye-catching and distinctive Diablo Red.
The use of Jet Black headlight bowls, fly screen, front mudguard, radiator cowls, side panels and rear bodywork perfectly resonates with the lustrous red and chrome. Meanwhile, Matt Aluminium Silver fork guards and upper radiator cowls highlight the stunning lines. They also tie in beautifully with the matching exhausts and intakes.
Similar to the Rocket 3, the GT edition benefits from all the tech and features. This includes a Ride-by-wire throttle, plus optimised cornering traction control and ABS to ensure safety in all conditions. There are also four riding modes that can be changed to suit conditions and rider preferences. Two-way adjustable Showa 47mm USD forks and a fully adjustable Showa piggyback monoshock make up for the suspension kit. Braking power comes from top-spec twin Brembo Stylema callipers, matched to 320mm discs.
