Tata Motors has announced the launch of a new Dark range in the Indian market. The new Dark range includes the Tata Altroz, Tata Nexon, Tata Nexon EV and the Tata Harrier. Out of the four new Dark edition models, the Tata Harrier made its debut in India around August 2019, taking the style quotient of the SUV to a new level.
Tata Altroz Dark
The Tata Altroz Dark starts with a price tag of INR 8.71 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The hot hatchback comes with a new Cosmo Black exterior paint finish and a dark tint finish on the 16-inch alloy wheels. The Altroz Dark also features a premium dark chrome humanity line across the bonnet and a Dark mascot on the exterior.
On the inside, the Tata Altroz Dark features a new Granite Black interior theme. The interiors also come with metallic gloss Black mid pad and leatherette upholstery. The upholstery also gets a deep Blue Tri-arrow theme perforations and Deco Blue stitch line. The car also features Dark embroidery on the front headrests. The Altroz Dark will be available in the top-of-the-line XZ+ petrol variant in naturally aspirated and iTurbo options.
Tata Nexon Dark
The Tata Nexon Dark comes with a starting price of INR 10.40 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Nexon Dark will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options offered in the XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) & XZA+(O) variants. On the outside, the Nexon Dark comes with matte Granite Black cladding and Sonic Silver highlights. The Nexon Dark also comes with new Charcoal Black 16-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Nexon Dark features a dark interior pack that includes premium leatherette seats. The seat upholstery comes with Tri-arrow perforations on seats and door trim. The front headrests on the Nexon Dark also come with Dark Embroidery.
Tata Nexon EV Dark
The Tata Nexon EV Dark comes with a starting price tag of INR 15.99 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Nexon EV Dark will be available in XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants. On the exteriors, the Nexon EV Dark features a premium Midnight Black paint and Satin Black humanity line and beltline. The all-electric SUV also features all-new Charcoal Grey alloy wheels and a Dark Mascot.
On the inside, the Nexon EV Dark comes with a glossy piano Black mid-pad and premium dark-themed leatherette upholstery. The upholstery features Tri-arrow perforations on the seat and door trims. The car also comes with a leatherette steering wheel and EV Blue stitches on the seats. In addition to this, the XZ+ variant will come with adjustable rear seat headrests, a rear seat central armrest with cup-holders and a 60:40 rear seat split. Furthermore, Tata also added features such as iTPMS (Tyre pressure monitoring system) to improve safety.
Tata Harrier Dark
The Tata Harrier Dark retails at the price of INR 18.04 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The Harrier Dark comes in 3 variants – XT+, XZ+ & XZA+. On the outside, the Harrier Dark features the all-new Oberon black colour with a hint of deep blue. The SUV also comes with bigger 18-inch Blackstone alloy wheels, enhancing the stance of the vehicle.
On the inside, the Harrier Dark features a completely dark roof upholstery and Benecke Kaliko Leatherette upholstery. The seat upholstery also comes with unique Tri-Arrow perforations and a deep blue undertone. The front seat headrests sport the remarkable Dark Embroidery in line with the new theme.
The brand has also announced that bookings on the new Dark range are now open at all Tata Motors dealerships across the country. The brand has also introduced a new Dark theme at all Tata Motors authorised dealerships to luxuriate customers into the new theme. In addition to this, Tata is also introducing a merchandise line that includes Dark branded T-shirts and Leather Jackets to accentuate the theme further. Furthermore, the brand also supplies the Dark edition cars with a tyre puncture repair kit to increase the convenience quotient.
