CFMoto, a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer along with AMW from India have recently begun their innings in our market. CFMoto will be launching 4 motorcycles in India in 2019 which include the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT. All bikes are competitively priced and will be available in showrooms in the coming weeks. Now, a fully faired motorcycle was missing in their portfolio, and this gap was supposed to be filled by the CFMoto 250SR concept shown earlier this year. A new set of spyshots have emerged on the internet hinting that the bike could be production ready. Although what we see could be early prototypes, the bike seems fairly ready for production. The brand had showcased this fully faired motorcycle as the 250SR, but in all probability, the bike might be launched as the CFMoto 300SR with the engine being shared with the 300NK. As one can notice in the pictures below, the CFMoto 250 SR / 300SR will get full LED headlamps with LED DRLs, clear front windscreen, rear view mirrors mounted on fairing, USD front forks, dual-channel ABS with front and rear disc brakes, LED turn indicators, full size exhaust which isn't seen on the prototypes now, split and step-up seat design, aero ducts in the pillion are panels, LED tail lamps, black alloy wheels, full digital speedo console, clip-on handlebars and more... The CFMoto 250 SR / 300SR is expected to be launched in India by early 2020. The 300NK street bike has been priced at INR 2.29 lakh. Going by this pricing, the CFMoto 250 SR / 300SR could be priced at roughly INR 2.5 lakh ex-showroom. When launched, it will rival the likes of TVS Apache RR310, KTM RC 390, Yamaha YZF-R3, Honda CBR250R, Benelli 302R and the likes. The CFMoto 250 SR / 300SR will share the engine with the CFMoto 300NK which is powered by a 294.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor with 4-valve and DOHC producing 34 PS of peak power and 20.5 Nm of peak torque matched to a 6-speed transmission.
