Skoda has released another teaser that shows off the upgraded Skoda Enyaq face. Priorly, it also released a design concept for the Enyaq facelift’s rear quarter. With the teaser, it seems that the Skoda Enyaq will receive the brand’s new “Modern Solid” design language, which was first introduced with the Elroq EV.
Skoda Enyaq exterior design detail:
The teaser showcases that the Enyaq will have a new “Tech Deck” panel. This panel has four segmented LED daytime running lamps at either edge. Further, the LED DRLs are connected to the illuminated area in the grille, which is a blanked-off contrasting panel. It also gets LED Matrix headlamps, which are mounted on the bumper.
Further, it is anticipated that Skoda Enyaq will have new dark chrome highlights and trim inserts for the side skirts and rear bumper. Similar to the Elroq, the Enyaq will use a new lettermark logo in place of the classic Skoda winged arrow badge. According to Skoda, the outward change has increased the SUV’s aerodynamic efficiency, which should result in a longer range. The Enyaq coupe will also receive these upgrades, and both vehicles are anticipated to make their debut before the middle of 2025.
Launch in the Indian market:
It is long overdue for the Enyaq electric SUV to be introduced in India, and the pre-facelift is anticipated to return in January at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo.
Additionally, it has been repeatedly spotted testing on our roads. According to spy photos, the Enyaq being tested was the top-spec 80x model, which has a 77kWh (net) battery and a WLTP range of up to 513km. With one motor on each axle, it has a dual-motor configuration that generates 265 horsepower overall. For this version, Skoda claims a 0-100 kph time of 6.9 seconds.
When the Enyaq finally, but undoubtedly, arrives on sale here in 2025, Skoda India may immediately introduce the facelift since a worldwide upgrade is quickly approaching.
