Meru Cabs has launched a mobile app with a cab wallet. With this app, one can book a cab, track their cab and can also confirm their booking up to 7 days in advance.
The mobile wallet system is in partnership with Citrus pay and will be used as a payment process at selected outlets by third party retailers. Customers need to register and add money to their app via credit card, debit cards or net banking. All you need to do at the end of the journey is click a button to make the payment.
If you are booking the cab from the same location where you are to be picked up from, you need not mention the address manually, it will be automatically picked up by the GPS. And after doing so, customers can track the cabs on the map in real time. Customers can also track the estimated time of arrival for their cab.
As of date, Meru has more than 10,000 cabs on the road and more than 35,000 trips per day.
