Z4 Pure Impulse Edition powetrain
The Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine that delivers 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. The manual variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, while the automatic achieves the same in 4.5 seconds.
Z4 Pure Impulse Edition design
Visually, the Pure Impulse Edition stands out with two new metallic paint options—Frozen Deep Green and Sanremo Green. The roadster features a slightly reworked kidney grille, vertically aligned LED headlights, and an aggressive bumper design. The rear is accentuated by slim L-shaped LED tail lights, a distinctive spoiler, and a rear diffuser. For the first time, the Z4 gets a staggered alloy wheel setup, with 19-inch wheels at the front and 20-inch wheels at the rear. Red-painted M Sport brake calipers and black mirror caps add to its sporty appeal.
Inside, the cabin exudes luxury with Vernasca Cognac leather upholstery, exclusive to the manual variant. The interior also features M Sport seats, an M leather steering wheel, and ambient lighting. The dashboard is dominated by a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by a digital instrument cluster. Additional features include dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon surround sound system, and optional extras like a head-up display and Parking Assistant.
The new Z4 is available as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit, ensuring top-notch build quality. It competes with rivals like the Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet, offering a unique blend of performance, luxury, and exclusivity.
