Maruti Suzuki extends its advanced telematics technology, Suzuki Connect, to the Arena channel. This service is only applicable for Nexa products as of now. Suzuki Connect provides the customers with a connected car experience by using cloud-based services. With the growing trend of digitalization, connected car features are increasingly getting popular in mass-market cars. Maruti Suzuki’s connected car offering is also on the same lines and aims to deliver its customers with a host of intelligent and high-tech features.
Key Highlights of Suzuki Connect
Security plays a very vital role in any car system, and Suzuki Connect takes care of this. The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) unit detects any type of intrusion, emergency in case of airbag deployment and tow away from the designated parking position. It sends an alert to the user and emergency contacts. In case of any system malfunction, MSIL customer care will communicate with the customer from their end.
Customers can also enable vehicle tracking, like geofencing, live location sharing and navigation to the parked vehicle location. With the use of Driving Behaviour Analysis, the driver can get driving-related statistics as well. This includes acceleration, braking, speed, sharp turn, driving score, fuel efficiency report, trip summary and more. To ensure a seamless and hassle-free driving experience, Suzuki Connect also provides necessary information like low fuel warnings, overspeeding alerts and more directly to the customer’s smartphone. Live Vehicle status keeps track of vehicle status like Ignition ON, Engine ON, AC on, Seat Belt alert, Fuel Level, Odometer Reading, Battery Health and more.
Plans And Price Details
Suzuki Connect is now available for all Maruti Suzuki customers. It is priced at INR 11,900 (inclusive of all taxes) for three years subscription. Nexa customers already owning one can renew their subscription plan at a special price of INR 999 for one year and INR 2,299 for three years. The Suzuki Connect is available as a Maruti Suzuki Genuine Accessory. Customers can get this at Maruti Suzuki’s sales network of 2,800 showrooms in more than 2,000 cities.
