Mahindra has announced the price list for its XEV 9e electric SUV variants. The top-spec Pack Three variant is priced at INR 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The base Pack One variant is priced at INR 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The price for the mid-spec Pack Two variant is yet to be revealed.
Mahindra XEV 9e Battery and Range
The XEV 9e is available with two battery options: a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh unit. The 59 kWh battery offers a range of 542 kilometers on a full charge, while the 79 kWh battery provides a range of 656 kilometers. Charging from 20% to 80% takes just 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC fast charger. Customers can buy either a 7.2 kW or an 11 kW wall box charger that will have to be bought separately.
Performance and Features
The XEV 9e features a single electric motor powering the rear wheels. The 59 kWh battery is paired with a 231 hp motor, while the 79 kWh battery powers a 286 hp motor. Both variants deliver 380 Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.
Design and Interior
The XEV 9e boasts a coupe-SUV design with muscular lines, pronounced wheel arches, and glossy black cladding. It features vertical LED DRLs, a panoramic sunroof, and a three-screen setup with 12.3-inch displays. The interior includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a spacious 665-liter boot.
The XEV 9e comes equipped with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, and a 360-degree camera. It also features Level 2 ADAS, including autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Mahindra XEV 9e Booking and Delivery Timeline
Bookings for the XEV 9e variants will open on February 14, 2025, with deliveries expected to begin in early March. The SUV will be available in eight colors, including Tango Red, Everest White, and Stealth Black. Test drives will begin in a phased manner starting January 14.
