Jaguar Land Rover India recently introduced specially curated and unique travel experiences called Defender Journeys. This is a self-drive, multi-day, adventure program, in Defender vehicles, that will include many itineraries across India. Each Defender Journey will consist of luxury stays, hospitality, lifestyle experiences, and cultural immersion. The drive will take us across some of the most iconic routes in India with off-road trails. Thus offering a complete Defender driving experience. As of now, there are 5 Defenders planned for each Journey. Thus offering just 5 drive slots, to enable a highly exclusive and personalised experience. The first Defender Journey, Konkan Experience, will take place from 16th January 2023.
To begin with, four Defender Journeys are as follows.
Konkan Experience
The first is the Konkan Experience. This is a journey between Goa and Bengaluru over seven days. The drive aims at exploring the towns along the Konkan coast, the hills of the Western Ghats and everything in between. The Konkan Experience is an adventurous journey filled with surprises. Be it exploring the beaches that dot the coast or sipping artisanal coffee in the cool mountain air. It also includes luxurious accommodations that offer rich culinary experiences and exciting activities.
Nilgiri Experience
The Nilgiri Experience is a journey between Bengaluru and Coimbatore, surrounded by lush nature, through the Western Ghats, and the famous tea plantations of the Nilgiris. Over seven days, The Nilgiri Experience will include travel through majestic forests, exploring a tiger reserve, staying in luxurious locations, and unwinding with a gorgeous sunset cruise.
Coromandel Experience
Under this, Land Rover offers a journey between Coimbatore and Chennai across the Eastern Ghats and the extraordinary coast that straddles the Bay of Bengal. The Coromandel Experience is a culturally rich journey that aims to provide complete immersion into the region’s colourful heritage and tradition.
Malabar Experience
This road drive is a journey between Coimbatore and Kochi. Participants will explore the region with its unique geography, tranquil backwaters, unspoiled beaches, rich culture and spices. The Malabar Experience is a pursuit that promises to amaze you every step of the way and more.
Land Rover confirmed more such journeys are under planning.
