The pre-bookings of the Kia Seltos opened on 16th of July 2019 and the brand has already achieved a new record of 6,046 bookings on the first day. This has set a new benchmark in the Indian Automobile Industry in terms of first-day bookings in this segment which is not really very cheap.
The company’s official website received 2 lakh hits on the 16th of July and 1,628 bookings came from the online route, in just one day. The brand has 206 sales points and 265 touchpoints across 160 cities in India. The Kia Seltos will be manufactured at the brand’s Anantapur facility which has a capacity of 3,00,000 units per annum and the plant is spread over 536-acres. Kia is currently accepting the booking at the price of INR 25,000 and the car will be launched on 22nd August 2019.

- Smartstream 1.5 Petrol
- Smartstream 1.4 Turbo petrol

And four gearbox options:-

- 6-Speed Manual
The Kia Seltos also comes with three driving modes – Eco, Normal and Sports and for greater grip and control on all surfaces, the Kia Seltos gets 3 traction modes – Mud, Wet/Snow and Sand.
In terms of styling, the Seltos gets a sweeping LED light bar, Kia tiger-nose grille, cube fog lights, an aluminium skid plate, spoiler, LED headlamps and LED tail lamps and 17-inch alloy wheels.
On the interior, the Kia Seltos features a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connectivity features and Android Auto integration, 7.0-inch colour multi-information display, ambient mood lighting with different colours, an 8.0-inch heads-up display with speed and navigation information, three-point flat-bottomed steering wheel with controls, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, wireless charging, tyre pressure monitoring system, world’s first connect air-purifier, rear shade curtain, rear AC vents, 360-degrees surround-view monitor, blind-spot monitoring, etc.
