Hyundai Motor Company has announced a new heritage exhibition. Dubbed as the Pony, the timeless at the Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul.
Hyundai Pony – a heritage exhibition
The Pony exhibition is part of the company’s Heritage project. This project will showcase the brand’s past as well as the future. It is open to the public from June 9, 2023. Along with the project, there will be a new book and magazine launch as well. The RETRACE magazine will celebrate the Korean carmaker’s heritage.
The exhibition pays homage to the human-centered philosophy at Hyundai. This was first established by Founding Chairman Ju-yung Chung. Pony will allow visitors to experience the start of the Hyundai Motor Company, as well as its growth over the years. Visitors will be able to take a look at the company’s timeline from multiple perspectives.
Visitors will first start the exhibition on the fifth floor. The exhibition spans several floors at Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul. First, there are videos and music along with paintings from the 1970s and 1980s.
On the fourth floor, there is the stage of global expansion of the carmaker. Then visitors come down to the third floor to see the restored Pony Coupe Concept. Guests will also be able to see a retrospective of drawings by its world-renowned automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. Hyundai has also placed the N Vision 74 concept here, which was recently showcased alongside the Pony Coupe Concept at the Hyundai Reunion
Towards the end, the exhibition has a photo gallery illustrating various moments people have shared with Pony over the years. This reflects the Chairman’s belief that the most important value in the Company is the people.
RETRACE Series
This is a book collection aimed at archiving the history of the Hyundai Motor Company. It includes a few records from Pony development that are being disclosed to the public for the first time. The overall theme is the ownership through Pony, which reflects the car ownership era in Korea.
This exhibition will be open till August 6, 2023.
