Husqvarna, part of Bajaj Auto’s Probiking business unit, has revealed two new colour options for their 250cc range of Vitpilen and Svartpilen motorcycles.
Apart from the new colour options, both motorcycles continue to have a unique Scandinavian design language that is minimalist and elegant. Thus, they stand out amongst other motorcycles in the highly competitive performance segment.
Husqvarna Svartpilen & Vitpilen 250 – New Colour Options & Pricing
The Svartpilen 250 now comes in a new ‘Black Blue Moonshine’ colour option. This colour comes with a black-blue colour in a matte finish, complemented by beige grey seat cowls.
Meanwhile, the Vitpilen 250 comes in a new ‘Ceramic White’ colour option. This sports a ceramic white colour in a matte finish, complemented by glossy, dark silver metallic seat cowls.
Pricing for both the Husqvarna models remains the same. Thus, the Svartpilen 250 retails for INR 2,19,878 ex-showroom, while the Vitpilen 250 retails for INR 2,19,251 ex-showroom.
Husqvarna Svartpilen & Vitpilen 250 – Highlights
The Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen are popular for their aesthetic design. Both are bespoke Swedish motorcycles that Husqvarna painstakingly crafts to deliver high performance. This results from the Swedish ethos of maintaining a fine balance between dynamic performance and unique Scandinavian design.
Powering both the motorcycles is a 250c fuel-injected liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. Both motorcycles share their powertrain with the KTM 250 Duke. This engine delivers high torque and 31 HP of peak power. The brand says the engine delivers a dynamic and fun-filled riding experience.
Furthermore, both feature a compact chassis design, WP upside-down suspension, and premium quality components. Thus, the Svartpilen and Vitpilen ensure an agile and dynamic performance and handling in an urban environment.
Despite sharing the same 250cc engine, both are very different. The Svarpilen 250 has a more rugged design and an upright stance. It also comes with dual-purpose tyres that can handle both on- and off-road journeys. On the other hand, the Vitpilen 250 has a much sportier design. It gets clip-on handlebars, road-biased tyres and a more front-lean riding position.
